Mike Scott is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist based in Nashville, TN. Born & raised in the Washington, D.C. area, Scott grew up on a steady diet of blues, rock n' roll, country, funk, and folk music. Also chips.
After playing around the D.C. area for years, Scott recorded and released his first EP 'Blues Doctor' in 2017.
In 2018, Scott moved to Nashville, TN bringing his band The Honeypots along with him. In 2019, he recorded and released his second EP 'Off To Get That Money', playing shows until the live music scene took a pause in 2020.
In 2022, Scott released an A side/B side single, 'Born Under A Bad Sign / Scotch Whiskey', followed up soon after by the recording of his first full length LP in 2024.
Set for release in 2025, Scott's first full length album is one that spans across multiple genres. Rooted in the blues driven, funk-fueled, soul-based rock that he has previously been known for, Scott's new music also stretches out into some new sonic avenues. With some tracks falling into a catchy Americana or even country-folk sound.
